We have a 9 Month Old

Where has the time gone?!?!? It just seems like yesterday I was bringing home our funny little nugget Evelyn. (Or as Elyse calls her "Evewyn".)

Eve now has 4 teeth in total. Two top front and two bottom front. She is almost crawling, but until she finally takes off she rolls everywhere. She loves and lives to see her big sister Elyse every moment of the day. 

Our Little Nugget of Goodness Turns 1

Evelyn turned one on December 31. We had such a fun time with family and enjoyed seeing Eve interact with everyone. This year went by so FAST!!!!

The Holiday Season

Well the holiday season has come and gone and the girls had a wonderful time. When I imagined having children several years ago, I imagined what Christmas Eve and Christmas morning would be like. It was everything I thought it would be & more!!!!

Well we hosted Christmas for my side of the family and had a fun time. We had Chicago deep dish, went downtown to Millennium Park to visit The Bean and visited the new children's park they just opened, we also went to Lincoln Park Zoo for their Zoo lights show. It was amazing!

Enjoying Some Local Petting Zoos

We have been enjoying our little day trips to some local festivals and petting zoos. Here are some funny and quite interesting animal friends we met on our adventures.

We truly are going to miss our weekly almost daily outings to the great outdoors now that winter is on its way. 

Already 9 Months

Little Eve is 9 months and such a smart girl. Her greatest accomplishments currently are sitting up on her own, rolling to get anywhere she wants, laughing at her big sister Elyse, clapping, and she is in position to start crawling. I think she will start crawling by at least 11 months if not sooner. 

It Has Been Some Kind of Fall

We have been out and enjoying all things Fall. Here Elyse and spouse are enjoying a petting zoo at the local Grundy County Corn Festival. Elyse loved petting all the animal but especially the miniature donkey and horses.

Yea they even had Alpacas. Spouse and I fell in love with these sweet animals. 

Our lively and happy little nugget Eve loved watching the animals too!!!

Elyse hated to leave this festival and she kept talking about wanting to ride the tractor. 

7 months

I can't believe how this bundle of fun loving energy can already be 7 months. Momma and daddy love you more and more everyday.
