Enjoying Some Local Petting Zoos

We have been enjoying our little day trips to some local festivals and petting zoos. Here are some funny and quite interesting animal friends we met on our adventures.

We truly are going to miss our weekly almost daily outings to the great outdoors now that winter is on its way. 

Already 9 Months

Little Eve is 9 months and such a smart girl. Her greatest accomplishments currently are sitting up on her own, rolling to get anywhere she wants, laughing at her big sister Elyse, clapping, and she is in position to start crawling. I think she will start crawling by at least 11 months if not sooner. 

It Has Been Some Kind of Fall

We have been out and enjoying all things Fall. Here Elyse and spouse are enjoying a petting zoo at the local Grundy County Corn Festival. Elyse loved petting all the animal but especially the miniature donkey and horses.

Yea they even had Alpacas. Spouse and I fell in love with these sweet animals. 

Our lively and happy little nugget Eve loved watching the animals too!!!

Elyse hated to leave this festival and she kept talking about wanting to ride the tractor. 

7 months

I can't believe how this bundle of fun loving energy can already be 7 months. Momma and daddy love you more and more everyday. 

Macaroni Face and Baby Turns Eight Months

This summer has gone by way too quickly. It just seems like yesterday the last patch of snow was melting off our driveway & the warm sunny days began. 

We have had such a great time this summer with meeting new friends and treasuring the moments we have with our girls. 

Here Elyse is enjoying her mac-n-cheese facial. It really is all the crazy in Europe! 

Out littlest girl Eve turned 8 months. Everyday she surprises me what she can do on her own. She is sitting up really well on her own now and knows her name. 

Summer with the Cousins

We had such a memorable time with Spouse's side of the family. Elyse received this beautifully knitted sweet and soft yellow dress from her Aunt Lauren. Thank you again!!! She absolutely loves wearing it.

Sister Fun

Eve is doing well in the sitting up department, as long as she is assisted; so, she graduated up to the bath tub seat. Elyse loved it because now she can entertain her little sister. 

All in a Week's Time

This week has been crazy, busy, & fun. From park play and picnics, to long walks to get ice cream, and cousins from Georgia visiting. Enjoy!

Neighborhood Friends

We have such great neighbors. One evening as the girls and I were walking to our neighborhood's park, I was flagged down by one of our neighbor to come over for s'mores. Elyse had such a great time playing with the girls and their dog.

Sister Love

Elyse and Eve have really begun to develop their beautiful relationship as sisters. I love to see Elyse care for and love on Eve. I also love to see Eve's little face glow with enthusiasm when Elyse plays with her. 

Elyse is 2!!!

Our first born turned 2 over the weekend. Seriously, where has the time gone. I wish we could bottle up these moments so that I could keep her little forever, but I can't so I will cheer her on as she continues to grow. 

Her party was a summer fun theme. It was fun making her these fun cakes to help celebrate her birthday.
