I know, I know, it has been well over 2 months since my last post. There really is no excuse but I am going to make some anyway. As of today we are still living in our 2 bedroom apartment locate in the suburbs of Chicago. It has been an adventure, but we are definitely ready for our forever home. Seriously! We have gone into contract on 6 different homes and have lost 5 of the homes due to some unforeseen events like low appraisals and crazy sellers. This home that we are currently in contract with is the most BEAUTIFUL and FUN home we have seen to date. We LOVE it!!! The appraisal has been ordered and we should know by this weekend if the house is ours. We are saying tons of prayers and hope you do the same for us.
Here is a little of what we have been up to since my last post in March: taking walks, feeding the ducks at our apartment complex, exploring every downtown suburb there is, going to the Memorial Day parade with Jon and Spencer Huards' families, having Ohio family visit (Mimi and Grandpy), celebrating Jeff Gibellina's graduation from law school, Elyse learning to crawl at 10 months, and last but not least finding out we are PREGNANT!!! Yes, you heard me right we are expecting our second bundle of surprise on January 2, 2014. Spouse, I, and offspring are thrilled!!! We were so surprised we were able to get pregnant so easily this time. Enough of my banter, here it all is in pictures.... Enjoy!
