Lots of Goings On

The end of 2013 brought many exciting and beautiful moments in our lives. This year it was so much fun to see the wonderment of the season thru our little Elyse's eyes. From the decorations, the smells, the sights of cold wintery days,  and visits of family and friend I stop and realize that we are truly blessed.

We had 3 does go right thru our backyard on this winter morning. I stopped to take in the awe of God's beauty watching the grace of these majestic creatures. Elyse loved seeing them as well and just kept pointing at them.
Elyse is at the very fun age of discovery and learning. This holiday season her and I did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. One of my favorite highlights was making gingerbread men with her and watching her eat the cookie dough in between cutting out the different shapes of the men.

On Christmas day, I thought it would be fun to start a new tradition where we would make Mistletoes by using Elyse's feet in finger paint. It was so much fun and she loved it!!!
Elyse loved the fun of opening presents this year, and we loved how she would scream every time she opened a gift.
